Shopify vs a custom online shop: the real UK cost

Both can work. The difference is how you pay: a hosted platform charges as you go, a custom shop charges up front. Always check current platform pricing on its own website.

Which should you choose?

If you want to start selling fast with a small catalogue, a hosted platform is usually the quickest. If you sell a lot, or need custom features such as WhatsApp ordering, a custom shop can cost less over time. We will work out both for you on a call.
